Fall season is drawing near and Gilbert is debuting Harvest in the Heritage District, a collection of themed events and experiences inviting locals and visitors to explore Downtown Gilbert.

1. Halloween Pumpkin Fun – Interactive Installation
Make some noise! Meet Jack, a larger-than-life jack-o-lantern xylophone where you can play tunes on pumpkin teeth! This interactive display is six feet high and eight feet long and is paired with a human-powered pumpkin musical box. Colorful box seating is staged throughout the area. Don’t miss the chance at a family photo opp!
Location: South of the #39 American Legion, 206 N Gilbert Rd

2. Día de los Muertos – Interactive Installation
Glide into the season on an 18-foot-long guitar-shaped slide and continue the musical fun cranking out tunes on a six-foot tall guitar. Honor your loved ones with the lit-up themed photo display – all tucked away in the greenspace just south of the canal at Heritage Marketplace.

3. Give thanks at the Mid-Autumn Celebration
Mid-Autumn Celebration will feature a series of events in partnership with Chandler Gilbert Asian Festival Committee and Gilbert Sister Cities. Join in the community art installation featuring ribbons of gratitude at Gilbert Park & Ride (222 N Ash St) every Saturday morning through Nov. 5. In addition, enjoy hands-on community events during the Farmer’s Market on these dates: Oct. 14, Oct. 28 and Nov. 4. Check out the dazzling lanterns and share your message of thanks this season.

4. Fall Concert Series at Water Tower Plaza
Grab a blanket or a lawn chair and meet us at the Water Tower Plaza this fall for our FREE Concerts in the Park! Concerts will take place from 6:30PM-8:30PM every Thursday in October. Performances will include a variety of family-friendly local musicians.

5. Stock up at the Gilbert Farmers Market
Gilbert Farmers Market is a must-see and must-shop experience in Downtown Gilbert. Open every Saturday, 8 AM – Noon, don’t miss the chance to check out more than 100 vendors. The market features local, chemical-free, organic produce from many local farmers, farm fresh eggs, meat, cheese, bread, sweets, coffee & tea, sauces, seasonings and many other locally made artisan products.
6. Fall return of the Gilbert ArtWalk
The seasonal return of the popular Gilbert Art Walk starts Oct. 7. This artist-driven event features live music and is free to the public. Shop for local jewelry, fine art, ceramics, woodworking, photography and so much more. Head online for exact dates this winter.

HD South Events: Events range from yoga to sound meditation, cookie decorating, line dancing and more. Don’t miss the Annual Spooktacular Car Show hosted by the Desert Corvette Association on Oct. 21.
Hale Centre Theatre: Hale Centre Theatre is thrilled to present Something’s Afoot through October 7. A captivating spoof of Agatha Christie plays, this whirlwind farce uses all the clichés of the mystery genre.
O.H.S.O. Brewery and The Park: Enjoy live music every Fri. and Sat. starting at 7 p.m. and save the date for the Annual Great Pumpkin Beer Day, Oct. 19 featuring more than 15 pumpkin-style beers on tap. Fall movie nights start Oct. 5 and fall beer releases are scheduled throughout October.
Candle Chemistry: Fall into fragrance with the highly anticipated return of skull jars and fall fragrances. Experience the nostalgic charm of pumpkin spice, the decadence of pumpkin soufflé, and the enchantment of holiday aromas with their limited-time collection.
Liberty Market: Taste the season and warm up with a special Harvest Spice Latte. This delectable delight features house-made Harvest Spice syrup with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and real pumpkin puree.
Prep & Pastry: Enjoy flavors of the season on P&P’s coffee menu. Try the Apple Chai Latte, Cinnamon Maple Cortado or the Caramel Apple Cold Brew. Don’t miss out on seasonal pastries that change daily including the pumpkin pie donut, caramel apple dossant, pumpkin pie prep tart, and pumpkin oatmeal cream pie.
