Here’s what tops our list for things to do during spring break in March:

Wednesday, March 13th

A Day at the Farm. Spend a day at Agritopia starting with a farm tour to learn about the property. Then, have lunch at Joe’s Farm Grill or The Coffee Shop at Agritopia. End your visit by browsing the Farm Shop, Barnone, or the Wednesday Farmers Market. Learn more about Agritopia on their website.

Painting Party. Join The Art House Gilbert for canvas painting! Kids will receive a 12×12 canvas and all supplies needed to create a popsicle canvas!

Thursday, March 14th

When it Doubt, Skate it Out. Start the day with a public skate session at AZ Ice. The South Pole rink will have an open session in the morning followed by a pickup hockey session in the afternoon. Look at their website for schedules if you and your kids want to continue going to open skate sessions.

Elvis Before Noon. Join the Gilbert community for the Spring Downtown Concert Series held at the Water Tower Plaza. Grab your family and friends and join us for some evening entertainment at the base of the popular Gilbert water tower where local bands will perform a variety of genres of music.

Friday, March 15th

Fitness For All. Start a new great hobby for your child during their spring break with Tai Chi classes. This martial art has great health benefits by combining meditation with self-defense techniques.

The Marvelous Wonderettes: Caps and Gowns. Join Hale Centre Theatre for The Marvelous Wonderettes: Caps and Gowns. You’re your family back a few decades with this musical that has a 50s and 60s flare.

Saturday, March 16th

Kidtopia. Enjoy an interactive festival built just for kids from 10am to 4pm at the Gilbert Civic Center. Giant inflatables, selfie galleries, sports activities, games, rides, a petting zoo, and so much more!


Creativity Takes Courage. The seventh season of Gilbert Art Walk is the perfect place to enjoy art and music while supporting local artisans and crafters at this FREE, family-friendly event located under the water tower in Downtown Gilbert. For current updates check their Facebook page.

Sunday, March 17th

Shake Your Shamrocks. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by enjoying your day with the family! There various restaurants and places throughout Gilbert that are celebrating the holiday. Join Thirsty Lion at SanTan Village, Flancer’s Restaurant, Cuisine & Wine Bistro, JC’s Steakhouse and so many more to complete your St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Only interested in dessert – then don’t miss out on Toasted Mallow or Creamistry in Downtown Gilbert.

Monday, March 18th

Time to Explore. Take a nice stroll around the beautiful Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch. There are all sorts of hidden treasures at the preserve with paved and unpaved paths to walk on. You will be surrounded by local nature.

Tuesday, March 19th

Ten Dollar Tuesday. Practice your airsoft aim at a discount enjoying VIPAirsoft Arena’s Tuesday special.

Wednesday, March 20th

Ultimate Kid Experience. There is plenty of activities to fill a day at Fat Cats only located in Gilbert. Start your visit with bowling, playing some games at the arcade, or putting at glow golf and then catch a movie.

Glam Camp With Studio 3 Performing Arts. Studio 3 Performing arts has two great camps for performing arts enthusiasts: Glam Camp or Blast Off to Broadway. This camp will give your child the chance to sing, dance, and act while making new friends and building confidence. Make their spring break one they won’t forget.

Thursday, March 21st

Singin’ In The Rain. Hale Centre Theatre presents MGM’s mega-hit musical Singin’ in the Rain. Bring the whole family to see incredible singing, tap-dancing and powerhouse performances that will keep you smiling the whole time!

Friday, March 22nd

Get Your Game On. Meet up with friends at this esports center to play all day! This is a social gaming environment for playing many different video games. To see the games available at Pure Esports look on their website.

Saturday, March 23rd

Local Eats & Treats. The best way to start your Saturday is at the Gilbert Farmers Market. Anywhere from 60 to 100 vendors, the Gilbert Farmers Market hosts farmers, food vendors, food trucks, beauty products, plants for décor, pet treats, and more. Did someone say samples? Several vendors sample their products. Hours may vary depending on the season, stay up-to-date via their Facebook page.

History of Quilting. Keep your family learning during spring break and head to the HD South Museum to learn about the history of Arizona Quilting. A journey guided by historian Carole De Cosmo is a great way to spend your last Saturday of break.

Sunday, March 24th

Rest and Relaxation – RnR. End your family’s spring break with rest and relaxation by planning a family outing for brunch followed by seeing a movie at the Harkins at SanTan Village.
