Hoyas and Hydroponics at Maricopa Botancials

Join us for an evening of learning all about growing Hoyas in LECA, a hydroponic growing medium, at our Gilbert shop!

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of semi-hydroponic growing, including how LECA works, proper watering techniques, fertilizing, and the simple care routine that keeps Hoyas healthy and thriving. Whether you’re brand new to LECA or looking to build confidence with hydroponics, this class is the perfect place to start.

Each guest will create and take home their own Hoya planted in a glass mason jar with LECA, along with a small bottle of fertilizer and a care guide to help your new plant flourish at home.
