Day 4:

Take the drive to view Sedona's red rocks.

Ok, we know you like adventure and you may want to experience more than just Gilbert, although we aren’t quite sure why. Here are some drives that will show you more of our great state and allow you to be back in your comfy hotel room in time to change for another great meal.

Apache Trail National Scenic Byway – 40 mile drive on Hwy 88. This route is mountainous and beautiful and should take about two hours.

Sedona is known for their red rocks. Wake up early and spend the day. It is worth the drive and make sure you take your camera.

Day 5:

State-of-the-art observatory at Riparian Preserve.

Ready for unique, we are known for our farm to table culinary experience. Agritopia is a perfect example of the way a community can come together.

You have to include a few hours to experience our Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch. The Preserve is organized into various vegetative zones ranging from marshlands to native riparian and upland vegetation areas. Approximately 298 species of birds have been identified on the site, and many insects, fish, amphibians, reptiles, and mammals have found homes there as well. Over 4.5 miles of trails weave through the park, and there are interpretive education panels on wildlife and vegetation throughout. Viewing blinds have been established at various locations near the edge of several ponds to further enhance the visitor’s experience.

A floating boardwalk crossing the northern end of the lake allows visitors a close up view of the fish and ducks on the water. Additional educational areas include an ethnobotanical garden, a paleontology dig site, gardens for pollinators including a hummingbird garden and butterfuly garden. Plus plan to stay or come back when the sun goes down. A state-of-the-art observatory and hilltop outdoor classroom will allow you to star gaze as well as see the space station on a clear night.
